So, Greg had to take his boards at the beginning of August and we had to drive to the outskirts of London to do so. On our way home we spotted a sign for "the Galleria" impressed by the name and that fact that it was built over the interstate we figured let's do it. Well we spotted Chiquita Mexican restaurant and were super excited.....because Mexican food (the real stuff) doesn't exist here. We are overwhelmed with Indian restaurants, which we are fond of too, but there's nothing like some chips and salsa, queso, etc. Here's the picture (especially for Chad and Jenna) of Levi at Chiquita's eating the super small bowl of salsa and chips.
The experience was one of many where we learned that eating is an event here, not to be rushed. It took 2 hours or more from start to finish....not because we don't eat fast, but because it just comes and then they put in the order for the main meal after they've made sure you're finished with the appetizer. If you want the whole story just email me :c) We are learning the true meaning of patience...and here we thought the fact that it took Levi 45 minutes to eat was teaching us that :c)
Oh, and here's our massive car in the tiny parking spaces...so glad we didn't bring the 4-Runner...we wouldn't have been able to park anywhere.
Bury St. Edmunds is just a short drive from our house, but is a bigger town/city than where we live. I absolutely LOVE taking Levi there because they have the most beautiful gardens and park. We can feed ducks, run around old abbey ruins and play on a park all in one. The next few photos are just a taste of what it's like. If anyone comes to visit, I'll be sure to take you by there.
