Forgotten moments

I don't know if this happens to others, but since we have a few devices with which to take photos it often ends up that I forget to download them onto the computer from one of the devices...well here are some photos from my phone that I completely forgot about, and just had the pleasure of seeing again. Some, I actually am seeing for the first time...Greg took them on my phone and so I hadn't seen them at all....such as this one. Levi sleeping on train from picking up or dropping Carl off in London.

This was hilarious. Levi decided he could eat an apple without us cutting it. Well, who are we to stand in the way of independence. Here he is handing me a piece of the skin....he doesn't really like the apple skin (or at least is selective about when he wants to eat it).

At this point, we've told him a thousand times to eat around the core and not eat the seeds. Well he'll pick out the seeds and hand them to us, but eat around the core....that's just wasteful when you can eat "through" the core.

We finally called it quits when it fell on the floor. So this is as far as he got...with no sign of being finished with his apple.

So, he managed about 2 weeks ago to get himself dressed and to peel a clementine (the small little oranges) by himself. He's growing up far too fast.

Here's our precious little Liam...angelic as always.

Levi and Opa walking home from Bambina's (our little Portuguese Cafe' in town...Jo, Levi, Liam and I frequent it weekly...let's be honest, we go there more than just once a week).

These I hadn't seen, since Greg took Opa to the train station. I just love them :c)

Levi is the best big brother.

Here he is at Bury feeding the ducks with Oma.

Levi was getting slightly hungry at this point and was trying to eat the ducks stale bread. Just have to love the mischievous smile on his face.

Driving the truck.

Greg had set up his tent for Levi in the living room. Levi started inviting all of us to come and hang out. Here he is telling me that he wants to climb out of the tent on that side. Now I have to explain that literally there was no room to get out that side...the living room isn't that big and the tent literally took up half of the available floor space.

Levi LOVES eating food with Greg. Here's a common "chips and salsa" father and son moment.

"Yup, life is tough"
Love Liam's little yawns.

All snuggled up in the wrap. He thought he'd just let me know he was still in there by sticking his hand out.

Levi couldn't wait to put his money in the offering plate at church and so while the pastor was still talking he went up and put his money. He then became the offering plate holder and this is after everyone has put money in the plate and he is taking it over to Jo.

Levi hellping Greg carry Liam into Sainsburys (the grocery store). He is such a big helper.

This was on the way back from Sainsburys and Levi was so tired, but Greg and I were trying to keep him awake. This is him literally laughing while he was falling asleep because Greg was making him laugh.

Just some sweet moments with our boys. They are growing up too quickly and so we are having to treasure each moment more and more. Levi has started to learn a bit of German and so it's really cute to hear him ask "What's called German" which translates into "what is it called in German." Mommy's going to have to brush up on some of those words she's been lax on over the last 3 decades :c)  I figured we'd start with fun stuff like plane, train, truck, car, foot, head, cow, horse. We'll delve into some other fun words soon. I'm impressed though at how quickly he's picked it up. So watch out world. When I learn Spanish and someone asks me where I learned the language I might just be saying "Dora the Explorer." It's the one program that I let Levi watch. I finally am allowing our son to watch TV...still only a limited privilege, but I figured, if he can pick up some Spanish that would help him later in life :c)

February has come and gone

Here we are nearing the end of February...just a couple of photos to sum up the month.

Liam's "little brother" shirt.

Levi in his onesie from France.

Okay so I have to be honest. Levi didn't just magically sit down and hold Liam. Levi wanted me to take a photo of Duduza and Iqhawe and so I told him he had to hold Liam for me so that I could take a photo. He obliged and this is the result. Yes, I did take pictures of Duduza and Iqhawe too. :c)

Kisses for Liam...so sweet

Here he was telling Liam "It's okay Liam" as he gently touched his head.

3 of my 5 boys on the couch

Liam loves his daddy

"It's great to be a Tennessee Vol"....well sometimes not so great during football season, but we love Tennessee nonetheless.

You can't help but love this little guy.

Tummy time is far too exhausting...this is literally what happens after about a minute...that's a minute of screaming his lungs out :c)

Something about this photo makes me think Levi looks about 4 years old. It might just be how he's standing and his somewhat serious expression.

He loves his construction hat from Grandpa and Bebe...

..so much so that he thought it was okay to wear it as a helmet while cycling, instead of his bicycle helmet.

Levi on his first day of school. We have signed him up for 2 mornings a week. A good social outlet for him and a break for mommy to spend some time with Liam. Not to mention a break for mommy when daddy will be gone.

Here's a snapshot...or 3 of how Liam has changed in the past 2 months.
"0 months" or December 23, 2010

"1 month" or January 23, 2011

Had to add another one of 2 of my handsome men.

"2 months" or February 23, 2011

Here are the 2 boys after the "2 month" photo op I had going. My precious gifts. I'm so blessed by both of these two little souls.

Sentimental moment to be followed by "Smile" moment courtesy of Levi. This child is always looking to make people laugh.

So that's our month in summary. :c) I'll try and post again soon and may have a bit more time once Levi starts going to school for the whole morning. He's gone now for two 1 hour blocks and has survived so we'll be moving on to the whole morning as of next week. I think he enjoys it and I'm sure we'll have some days where he doesn't want to go as we all did, but I hope he gains a lot from the experience.

Daddy take me to work

So this was what happened this morning after Greg left to go golfing with a friend...
His bag of PT gear was on the floor and various other work clothes were lying around. All of a sudden I hear, "Levi go work Daddy" as in "Levi wants to go to work with Daddy" I come into the hallway to look and find this...

I'll catch up with some photos of the last few months. If I could figure out how to easily do Picassa I will. Alas, I'm a little slow on the technology train.

The newest edition to the Dunn family....Liam Nathaniel.

Levi being so sweet to Liam on his arrival home.

Yup, Uncle Carl's leg makes a good foot rest :c)

Liam actually looks small when held by his Uncle Carl. :c)

Levi being Levi :c)  Love this kid...he's always up for fun and amusement.

Liam rocking the Christmas pose. :c)

Too cute.

Love these tiny feet.

Opa stopped by on his way back from Germany.

Liam sporting the "football" (or soccer) outfit

Oma came to visit and we had a great time. Levi giving kisses...it was our ploy to get a photo of him :c)

Liam's a month old. Hanging out with daddy.

Too cool eating my gummy treats.

Being so sweet to the dogs. He actually wanted me to take his photo with the dogs.

So, that's pretty much our life over the past month and a half.
Had a baby.
Enjoyed Christmas.
Uncle Carl, Opa and Oma came to visit (separately).
Fun times had by all.
Now settling down into life with Liam and Levi.
